About Our Music

The Crawdaddies are a very popular emerging artist from the East Coast whose music combines some of Louisiana's Cajun / Zydeco / Blues sounds with North Eastern's Roots Rock / Americana / Ska influences to create a very unique sound that is all its own.

Crawdaddies news: "Gimme Some" awarded SILVER
from the Mid-Atlantic Song Contest!
The Crawdaddies have a great live performance
(recorded at the WC Handy Blues Festival
in Henderson, KY)
being featured on the national PBS series "Jubilee.”

“This is perhaps the most commercial band I’ve seen in this genre of music. They can play any venue anywhere, anytime. What an incredible, exciting group of professional musicians.”

"The Crawdaddies should be on your Radar, Calendar and iPod.
These DC-Baltimore-based players got a WAMMIE nomination for their squeezebox-enabled music. Drawing inspiration from Zydeco but also the ska revival, “Keep Lookin' Up” bops along merrily in a people-pleasing way. This is the kind of highly professional touring band that seems just designed for festival stages and happy outdoor crowds."
